Poem on-Pi
- Nishika Arya (9-B)
In ancient Greek times, ARCHIMEDES OF SYRACUSE discovered a pi, Which is pretty easy and is pronounced as pie;
It appears in many formulas of math and physics,
It has 6.4 billion known digits.
It never repeats itself as its value keeps ascending,
After the decimal point, it never has any end;
Based upon a circle many people have tried,
To calculate the ratio of its width to its outside;
March 14 is recognized as pi day too,
It is the most common constant and an irrational number too;
Mathematicians call it as an infinite decimal we know this too,
Pi is donated by the 16 Greek letters you should know this too;
Pi is not so difficult as you think,
Keep trying cause it is just beginning...
Poem On Pi - Yuvishka (9)
A pie was discovered, In ancient Greek times, Didn't have apples, Bananas or lime... Unlike deserts, Those pies people eat, this pie is a math constant, But it's still really sweet. Pie is pretty easy, it's 3.14 or 22/7, It used to confuse me, But not anymore! I use it in math, It's really quite well, though it's irrational, Pie works pretty well... Pie is the coolest constant, Without it, I'd cry, cause I'd fail my math if I didn't tried to use Pie... Poem on Pi - Nakshita Jain (9)
There was once a girl who loved pi I never could quite fathom why to her, it's a wonder to me just a number its beauty revealed by and by
Pie Day Poem
-Varnika Gupta (9)
All my life, I have loved Pie,
From the flavour to smell,
There is cherry, pumpkin and apple,
All of them are truly swell.
When someone told me about another type ,
It was very hard to think through,
They said it has number in it,
Which would make it really hard to chew.
It goes 3.141 and so on,
And it continues for a long time ,
It even have a symbol they said,
And trying to remember it all should be a crime.
Now I know it all there is,
From Pie to Pi ,
But I must said this,
In the end, either one is definitely worth a try.
